We have all, at some point or another in our lives (usually in a time of crisis), popped open a can of that drink with the famous picture of two bulls locking horns. Red Bull is THE go to solution for the times when you need an extra energy rush to kick yourself into a high gear.

During last minute exam cramming sessions, when you have that assignment which you’ve been procrastinating on or even when you just don’t want to stop partying, Red Bull has been a lifesaver for so many of us.

But, today is your lucky day! I’m going to let you in on a secret. Not only can Red Bull kick start your batteries but it can make a surprisingly tasty ingredient for a number of awesomely delicious recipes.

So, without further ado, let me introduce you to 3 of the tastiest dishes which involve our favourite energy drink. You ready?


Red Bull Glazed Chicken Wings

Let Red Bull literally give you wings with this party favourite. The best part is that it uses just 5 ingredients to produce these great tasting wings.



10 Chicken Wings

1 Can of Red Bull

Chilli Powder to Taste

2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

2 Cloves of Garlic



  1. Fry the chicken wings in a pan on slow heat for about 15 minutes or until the juices run clear
  2. Combine Red Bull with garlic and chilli powder in a separate saucepan
  3. Transfer the wings into the sauce pan and gently boil them for 20 minutes in the Red Bull sauce
  4. Add soy sauce just before serving piping hot
  5. Om nom nom nom (This is the most important part)


Red Bull Battered Tilapia with Lemon

You know how you can fry things after dipping it in a beer batter? Well, have you tried replacing the beer with Red Bull? Trust us. It’s delicious.



2 Tilapia Fillets

1 Can of Red Bull

1 Cup Flour

1 Tablespoon Baking Powder

1 Cup Corn-starch


2 Sliced Lemons



  1. In a large mixing bowl, prepare the batter by mixing together the Red Bull, flour, baking powder and corn-starch. Add water if required.
  2. Dip the fish fillets into the batter until they are soaked well
  3. Fry the fish fillets in hot oil until golden brown and crispy
  4. Season with salt and lemon. Enjoy hot with tartar sauce.


Red Bull Muffins

Main dishes must always be followed up by dessert. It’s one of the non-negotiable rules of life. Add some kick to the final course of your meals by whipping up these delicious muffins for your Red Bull craving guests.



For the Cupcakes

½ Can Red Bull

12 Tablespoons Butter

2 Cups Sugar

3 Eggs

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

2 Cups Flour

¼ Cup Whole Milk

3 Teaspoons Baking Powder



For the Frosting

12 Tablespoons Butter

2 Cups Powdered Sugar

½ Can 250 ml Red Bull



Preparing the Cupcakes

  1. Mix together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla essence and Red Bull in a bowl
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together in a separate bowl
  3. Mix together the contents of the two bowls well to form a nice, creamy batter
  4. Fill the cupcake pan with the batter
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius

Preparing the Frosting

  1. Mix together the butter and sugar, whipping the mixture and making it as fluffy as possible
  2. Add the Red Bull and continue stirring until the desired consistency is achieved
  3. Apply on top of the cupcakes and lick the remnants off your fingers
